Amy Sherman-Palladino (born January 17, 1966) is an American television writer, director, and producer, best known for creating the beloved TV series, Gilmore Girls.
Her distinctive writing style is characterized by rapid-fire dialogue, pop culture references, and complex, multi-layered characters. She often co-writes and directs episodes of her shows with her husband, Daniel Palladino.
